About me

Kari R Lane, PhD, RN

Dr. Lane is a Ph.D.-prepared registered nurse. Her clinical background includes experience in telemetry, ICU/CCU in a Level I Trauma Center, Emergency Medicine, long-term care, and care management. She has taught nursing courses since 1996 at all levels of nursing education. Currently, she is an Associate Teaching Professor at the University of Missouri, Sinclair School of Nursing. She teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Lane also does research in geriatrics with a focus on preventing hospitalizations and care management. Another interest is hearing loss in older adults.
